You’ll be the friendly face at reception, the go-to for member enquiries, and a passionate advocate for everything STARplex has to offer. About the role As a key part of our front-of-house team, you will: - Deliver a first class customer experience every time
- Welcome members and visitors with energy and professionalism
- Help customers discover the programs and services that best suit their needs
- Be confident promoting and supporting all STARplex offerings
This role requires flexibility with shifts available across weekdays, weekends and occasional public holidays. What you’ll bring We’re looking for team members who are: - Passionate about customer service and people

- Energised by working in a fast-paced, community focused environment
Experience in the fitness industry is a bonus – but not essential. We’ll support you to learn! Key responsibilities - Deliver outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone
- Accurately handle cash and operate point of sale systems
- Provide membership information and confidently support new joins and renewals
- Promote STARplex services including the Fitness Centre, Swim Centre, STARstore and Courts programs
- Build strong relationships with members and visitors
- Represent STARplex with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times
Skills and attributes - Friendly, approachable and high-energy attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid computer skills
- A genuine interest in health, fitness and community wellbeing
Essential requirements - Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Ability to meet pre-employment requirements within an education environment, including:
- Department of Human Services working with children check - Agreement to Trinity College Child Safe Policies - Completion of Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect training Why join STARplex?
