Vacancies occur from time to time for motivated, professional and flexible people to fill the role of Education Support Officer, providing classroom support across all year levels in any of the six schools within Trinity College. These roles may be fixed term, full-time, part-time or casual. As an Education Support Officer, you will: - Communicate effectively and establish positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- Have a demonstrated capacity for self-directed application of appropriate techniques and the ability to modify or adapt strategies to suit student needs
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of curriculum with participating teachers
- Deliver curriculum to children in small groups or to individuals under the direction of the teacher
- Organise and prepare materials and resources for activities and help organise special events and children’s work displays
- Hold (or be undertaking) a Certificate III in School Based Education Support or higher relevant qualification
