Trinity College is a thriving multi-site, independent, co-educational Anglican College founded in a liberal educational tradition and located in the northern Adelaide region.

 

A vacancy occurs for an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible person to work as part of a team in a busy school, providing support to Defence students and families.

 

The role is an ongoing part time position, available to be filled immediately, of 10 hours per week (school term only).  The work time is flexible with Tuesday being a preferred day.

 

The successful applicant will be responsible to the Principal and Pastoral Care Team to provide support to the children of Australian Defence Force families attending Trinity College North and South Schools in Years Reception to Year 6.  Assistance will be delivered from the school setting with an emphasis on student mobility and service induced separations and the issues they present.

 

The Defence School Mentor position is funded by the Defence Member and Family Support (DMFS) Branch and the Education Liaison Officer provides support, information and the link to Defence and DMFS. The Defence School Mentor role forms an integral part of the Defence School Mentor Program network in South Australia which is managed by the Education Liaison Officer.
