We are looking for a capable, experienced Office Manager to lead the Gawler River Administration team and ensure the School Office operates effectively. This key leadership role oversees administrative services, leads a high-performing team, and fosters a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and excellence in service delivery. Working closely with the Principal of Gawler River, the successful candidate will contribute to broader planning and improvement initiatives and represent Gawler River within the Office Administration Managers Group, ensuring alignment with the College’s standards, mission and values. You will contribute to broader College planning activities and represent Gawler River in the Office Administration Managers Group. 


What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead and manage the Gawler River Administration team, ensuring a professional, welcoming and responsive service to our students, parents and community 
  • Support the Principal with planning, diary management and confidential administrative support 
  • Coordinate the administrative aspects of Gawler River student records and confidential data as required
  • Actively contribute to the Office Administration Managers Group and collaborate with leadership across the College 
  • Communicate effectively with a wide cross-section of the Gawler River school community, including students, families and staff 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, discretion, and service excellence. 
    Ensure quality control across administrative functions and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

  • The ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with the utmost discretion and professionalism 
  • Experience in an education setting is highly desirable 
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and partnering effectively with senior stakeholders 
  • A commitment to modelling professionalism, integrity and confidentiality at all times 

This is a full-time position working during school terms plus four weeks during term breaks, with salary pro-rated to reflect the weeks worked each year.
